Our team was formed in order to find a solution to the high prices that the Japanese knife making industry has set as a standard. We even stumbled into $20 knives, it's crazy how low these can go for now. However we believe in spending more for higher quality products and materials, knives that will stand the test of intense cooking sessions while maintaining their edge. How do you care for your knives?
Yakushi Knives are extremely easy to care for. Make to hand wash your knives and drying them well after every use, they can last you lifetime.
How many knives do I need?
It depends, do you usually cook by yourselves? Do you like to cook as a couple of a family? Depending on your cooking habits, you might have to get one, two or maybe three of the Damascus Nakiri knives, so that they can be shared with your friends and family for faster and more efficient cutting. Where do you ship? How fast is the shipping?
Our shipping to the US is completely free and we charge a small express shipping fee for other countries.
We now ship internationally, every week we send out hundreds of packages to customers around the world.
All orders are processed and shipped within 1-2 business days.

US --> 4-6 business days (depending on the state)
Canada --> 5-8 business days (depending on the province)

What is the hardness of the steel?
Our knives are made with 67 Layer Japanese Damascus VG-10 Steel with a Rockwell Hardness (HRC) of 60+. The steel we import and use is extremely durable and holds the blade's edge for a very long time.
